Speaker:  Officer Robert Woods, Safety Program/Investigations California Highway Patrol Officer Woods has been an Officer with the California Highway Patrol since 1996. Since graduation from the CHP Academy, Officer Woods has completed numerous specialized training courses relating to Law Enforcements response to Active Shooter incidents. Officer Woods has been a Grenadier on the CHP's Special Response Team. As a member of the SRT Team, he was trained to deploy specialized munitions during incidents of civil unrest. Since April of 2016, Officer Woods has been assigned to the CHP's Safety Service Program. Officer Woods is responsible for patrolling and investigating all crimes which occur on state owned or leased properties within Shasta County.
