Join NALS of Phoenix for March Membership Meeting featuring Ann Woodley Tips for Managing Strong Emotions in Law Practice This will be an interactive seminar focused on practical tips for handling the strong emotions of others (including clients, colleagues and supervisors) in the context of a legal practice. In today's stress-filled, combative atmosphere it is even more important to learn how to productively deal with others' emotions, as well as your own. She was a law professor for more than two decades, and taught at three different law schools. Ann primarily taught Civil Procedure, Pretrial Practice, Interviewing and Counseling, and courses related to alternative dispute resolution (ADR)--including ADR, Mediation, and Mediation Advocacy. She is the author of numerous articles and a book entitled "Litigating in Federal Court: A Guide to the Rules" (2nd ed., 2014, Carolina Academic Press).
